Maya Mountain Adventure Challenge Joins ARWS

The Maya Mountain Adventure Challenge (MMAC) 2016 – An expedition race in Belize, Central America – has joined the Adventure Racing (AR) World Series, the premier circuit of endurance races held annually across the planet. Pre-Race Report: Racing An Expedition Race For The First Time

Heather Kluch sent us her pre-race report before heading down to Belize and competing in the Maya Mountain Adventure Challenge. The team originally consisted of 3 members until one of the teammates had to undergo an emergency medical procedure. One of the toughest parts of any team event is getting everyone ready and healthy to the starting line. Kudos to Heather and Eric for embarking on the adventure as a team of 2.
